First Aid at Work (4 days)
and two day refresher course

Our First Aid at Work course is the full four-day course approved by the Health and Safety Executive.

It covers primary and secondary care and the treatment and management of medical emergencies in the work place. This is a very informative course set in a relaxed and positive atmosphere. Students will enjoy taking part in active exercises, which simulate emergency situations.

The course content includes:

• Accidents and illness;

• Using a first aid kit;

• Record keeping;

• Treatment of an unconscious casualty;

• Heart attacks;

• Resuscitation;

• Shock;

• Choking;

• Bleeding;

• Burns and scalds;

• Poisoning; Fractures;

• Seizures;

• Asthma;

• Severe allergic reaction;

• Eye injuries;

• Low blood sugar; fainting.

First Aid at Work is suitable for:

• The larger company Offices with 50 plus employees

• Engineering companies with more than 20 employees

• High risk employment with more than 5 employees

The First Aid at Work certificate is valid for three years.
