This course is aimed at people with the responsibility for the Health and Safety of their employees and others who may be exposed to hazardous substances.
The course will cover relevant issues likely to affect people managing the use of chemicals including:

Undertaking suitable assessments

The need for maintenance

Prepare and maintain records

Undertaking appropriate training

Health surveillance
The course will also cover what is hazardous to health and discuss why safety should be managed proactively rather than reactively.
Delegates will be briefed on the importance of procedures and implementation of a programme for the control and assessment of substances within their organisation.
By the end of the course delegates will have a sound understanding of their personal and legal responsibilities for the control of chemical substances.
